Weekly schedule

We will have four 50-minute lectures per week. Some of the lectures will be converted to tutorials to discuss problem sets and assignments.

Grading policy (tentative)

• Problem sets: 1 * 5 + 3 * 10 = 35%
• Course project (in groups of 3): 5 (preliminary evaluation) + 10 (final evaluation) = 15%
• Mid-sem: 20%
• End-sem: 30%

Important dates (tentative)

• Problem sets (deadlines are +10 days): PS1(18/8), PS2(15/9), PS3(6/10), PS4(20/10)
• Mid-sem: 16/9 (Saturday)
• End-sem: 15/11 (as per institute calendar)

Please do not email me or the TAs unless the issue is specific to you (like missing lectures, correction in grading). Even for such issues, we highly recommend you to message privately using the discussion forum.

For general questions related to the course (any comments/doubts), please create a topic in the correct stream and add you question/comment there. You are also welcome to reply and clear the doubts of your friends.
